Frances Street Park

Frances Street Park functions as the neighborhood’s extended backyard, complimenting nearby larger parks as well as academic school programs.  The park design transformed a steep site by sculpting spaces for Frisbee, football and basketball. Casual and accessible paths invite strolling. Restored creek banks and a regional stormwater treatment feature serve as examples for outdoor education.   A stream overlook provides opportunities for picnics and outdoor education for the neighboring school. The firm assisted the neighbors and Hillsboro Parks and Recreation to complete this vision.
